I can't drive 54
Or i should say, i shouldnt drive 54 in a 45 thru schaumburg!
So there i am, driving home from O'Hare airport where i just dropped my roomate off so he could hop a flight to NYC for some "sound guy" workshop thing his employer was sending him to.
I made it out of the general O'Hare area and stopped by Woodfield to see my sister while i had the chance. (i havnt had a car for a few months due to me blowing mine up with bad tuning and judgment)
I talked to her for a few min, and took off for DeKalb.
While driving west down Higgins, past a motorcycle cop that had a nice red RX7 pulled over, i looked down at my speed, then at the mph sign on the side of the road, and think to myself, m e h.
well as the light ahead of me turns red, i check my rearview to see a semi undercover crown vic with his headliner flashers on...
DAMNIT!
Im on a ticket already for speeding!
I hope my roomate has his Insurance card in the car!
Am i carrying any "contraban"?
Oh well, the officer was nice enough, kindof felt bad for pulling me over after talking to him for a few minuets afterwards...
They never feel bad enough to forget the ticket though.
So, yea, i never paid the first ticket, (NOTE: if you pay a ticket by credit card, and the credit card is declined because, say, maybe its already maxed out, they reassign your court date automatically! its kinda like asking for a continuence without going into court!) He came back to the window wit han I-Bond because, "i trust you and dont want to take 75$ of your hard earned cash" Thats good i said, because im flat broke, wherin i told him what i did with the first ticket, thats not due for court till aug 15th. So, that one and this one are gonna cost me more $ I dont have...yet...
I am accepting Paypal donations to Wouldpkr {at} hotmail
Thank you for your time!
[update]
Ok, so i actually looked at the ticket,he told me i was doing 54 in a 45, but the ticket reads 56 in a 40...
Theres no difference really, as thier both between 1-20 mph over the limit, but i hate that...
he was also nice enough to remind me that "these things usually come in 3's"
So, i got that going for me...
